Hmmm avoid salt, it makes your body retain water, which leads to bloating. Use other flavorings to spice up your food. Read labels on pre-packaged foods to see if they contain “hidden” sodium. Stay away from chocolate (although it does reduce some of the pain I find), caffeine and refined sugars. Poor nutrition increases water retention. Hope this helps!

Also, I found a link that has a few more suggestions you could try! http://www.ehow.com/how_4517851_reduce-menstrual-bloating.html

No worries I understand 100%. Opening up puts you in a seriously vulnerable place, I get it :) Everything will be ok, you need to remember that! Can’t always get through problems alone and thats ok!

Thanks for the sweet words <3 I’m here if you ever need anything

First, take a few slow deeeep breaths! I’m proud of you for recognizing you need help and reaching out for it!If you have enough courage to come off anonymous I’d love to chat with you privately. If not, that’s completely fine.

My 1st suggestion would be do little things that make you feel good like reading, doing your nails, watching your favorite tv show, drawing etc. I know from experience how tough it is to stay strong and put up a front and act like everythings ok. You need to come clean with those who love you and tell them how you really feel. No question it’s hard but let me tell you it really is worth it.
